THE BEST WAY TO RESIST THE DEVIL IS TO RECKON YOURSELF IN CHRIST

The devil always says "Remember what you did ten years ago,remember what you...remember what you..."Yes that is NOT the Holy spirit convicting you but the devil condemning you.He will ALWAYS point at you even through preachers sometimes.

Listen,it doesn't matter what you did or why you did it.The next time the devil comes reminding you of your sins,don't even try and justify yourself.Instead say "Yes I sinned,But Jesus gave His life for sinners and now I am eternally righteous in God's eyes.Devil be gone."Friends that is called resisting the devil.

Do not try justify yourself to anyone not even yourself.Instead focus on Christ and say"Christ is my righteousness,Christ is my redemption and Christ is my Sanctification and Holiness."(1 corinthians 1 30.I am righteous because He is righteous.The only way you can lose your righteousness is when Christ ceases to be righteous and Holy.That's never going to happen.

Friends,know yourself in Christ and not by your own deeds or thoughts.This will not lead you to even sin more but instead break the power of sin as romans 6 14 states "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace."
Embrace the gospel,Embrace Jesus and live by faith in HIS righteousness as your righteousness.Truly the righteous shall live by faith.
