GOD'S POWER COULD NOT CHANGE US...NEITHER COULD HIS LAWS...ONLY THE REVELATION OF HIS HEART AND UNCONDITIONAL LOVE TOWARDS US WORKED MIRACLES

Like many of you,we did not embrace the gospel because we fear hell/eternal damnation nor was it because it was the "right"thing to do.It was not God's power and magnificence that made us trust Him completely nor was it the ten commandments that turned our lives into a considerable less worldly way of doing things.So how were Addictions broken,relationships restored and abundant peace was poured out in our hearts?
The only reason for this,the only reason we stand for this gospel,the only reason we think,eat and sleep Jesus is because of the Father's love for us.
To find a perfectly righteous being who knows everything about us and does not judge us and instead chose to punish all our sinfulness and unrighteous deeds of our past present and future in the body of another is what made the difference.
To discover that God calls us righteous and sees us truly spotless and sinless despite our wrong deeds and lawlessness is what transformed us into "daughters and sons of Abraham."
The priests who told us to repent failed(they do not even understand the meaning of repent and think it's self condemnation and confession of sins)
The pastors who preached a different gospel(that said God was angry and counting our sins against us)did not help and even the mellow voiced teachers who proclaimed the ten commandments as a way of life failed us for they fail to rightly divide scripture.
Friends,we were changed by God's unconditional love for us.Call it hyper grace if you may but the bible says that it is the abundance(unending supply)of grace and the gift of righteousness that we reign in life.(Romans 5 17)For once we understood and actually saw that God is love.
You do not have to be a theologian,a pastor or even a christian to experience God's love for you.Just a humble heart to recognize the truth.The truth that in and of ourselves(without Christ) we are evil and separated from God but by accepting the greatest sacrifice of all comes eternal reconciliation and best of all right standing with God.Obviously you become a Christian after acknowledging this and accepting Christ into your life.
The fact remains Laws will not change you nor self help books get rid of your addictions.
2corinthians 3 18 But we all, with unveiled face(free from the law) beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
We were transformed by beholding Christ and the Father's love for us even when we sinned we knew He still loves us and was not angry with us.
It is by this that we understood what it truly means to love God.We love (Him and others)ONLY because He first loved us.1John 4 19
Truly this gospel is not a religion.
