A PICTURE OF JESUS PAYING FOR GENERATIONAL CURSE

John 19 30
When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

There is no insignificant detail in the bible.Jesus receiving the sour wine on the cross is a picture of Him redeeming all of us(believers)from the generational curses(Being punished because of the sins of your parents etc).

In numbers 14 18,God punished sin to the third and fourth generation. If you look at ezekiel 18 2 and Jeremiah 31 29,there is a proverb that states 'The parents eat sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge'It is actually in its context speaking of generational sin.

Grapes is a picture of wine in the bible(we get wine from grapes) and by Jesus taking the sour wine,He took the generational type of curse from us(those who believe) and that is why in Hebrews 8 12,God can justly say "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."All because someone else suffered in our place.

Today,if anyone says that you are cursed because of your parents sins or whatever, simply ignore them in a kind way.
