The ten commandments were not meant for you to keep but for you to try then fail to keep and notice,you cannot match up to God's holiness on your own and that you need another way to get to and stay with Him.Don't be stubborn,accept you can't match up to His laws and let Him take you.
Or are you afraid that you may become even more sinful when you stop focusing on the law??
Romans 6 14 says that when you are under grace,sin has no dominion over you.That means the opposite is true,when you are under law,sin has dominion and power over you.That is why it seems impossible for us to overcome addictions and sinful/habitual lifestyles.
1 corinthians 15 56 says the law gives sin its power(power of sin is the law)
Dear Friends give grace a chance.For too long have you felt a distance from God.Give grace a chance.Cease from focusing on your works and deeds and learn to focus on the finished work of Christ.
We assure you your life will never be the same.
