THE FALLING AND THE FALLEN CHRISTIANS
If you ask most christians what to fall from grace means,most of them will say "backsliding"or falling back into sinful lifestyle or any other sins one can commit
galatians 5 4 "For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God's grace."
The truth about falling from Grace is actually falling back to the law.Yes,those who believe that they have to perform and do good so that God can bless them are the ones who have truly fallen from Grace.
If you believe you must confess all your sins to be forgiven,you have fallen from grace.If you believe you can lose your salvation(yet the fact remains you did not get it by your own good deeds),you have fallen from Grace,If you live your life according to the ten commandments,you have fallen from Grace.
Basically anyone who believes they must do something(old covenant clause) to get blessings from God have fallen from Grace.(Gal 5 4)
You cannot save yourself,your flesh tells you that you are better than someone else because you sin less,or pray more.This is not true,In and of yourself(without Christ's free gift of righteousness),you will only invite judgement,curses and punishment.But because you are In Christ(a believer)God can only shower you with blessings not because of your good deeds but because of the obedience of Christ.
Friends do not look at yourself,your deeds,your thoughts or how much you are walking in accordance to the law.If you do so,you are cutting yourself off from Christ and will fall from Grace.
