ANY TEACHING THAT SAYS YOU SHOULD FEAR GOD IN A SENSE OF BEING SCARED OF HIM MUST BE IGNORED COMPLETELY
So what does it mean to "fear"God??

It is very unfortunate that some preachers have made God look like a hateful and angry father.Yet truth be told He is more loving than any one.
This is Jesus own definition of "Fearing" God.
When He was tempted by the devil in Matthew 4 10 and Luke 4 8.Jesus quoted scripture and said"For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only."He was quoting deuteronomy 6 13 which says"Fear the LORD your God, serve him only.."
As you can see,the word fear and worship have been used interchangeably.
Unfortunately,most christians have been taught that to fear God is to be afraid of His holiness and wrath.Friends,do not be deceived.
If anyone tells you that you should,fear God more in a sense of being afraid.Quote

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and sound mind"
1 John 4 18
"There is no fear in love but perfect love casts out all fear."
romans 8 15
" you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God's Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, "Abba, Father."
Any teaching that makes you fear God in a sense that you are afraid of Him must be ignored completely.
My friend,there is nothing for you to fear.In God's eyes,you are perfectly and eternally righteous.Forget about your sins,because He has already forgotten all of them(past present and future) as they were punished in Christ,
Why don't you forget religion and embrace the most meaningful relationship in life?
