Jesus did not die to stop us from ever sinning again.
He died to make us forever righteous and thus fully acceptable in God's eyes.
If Jesus had died to stop believers from ever sinning again. Then He failed.Humans are not made to be perfect.I am not speaking of habitual or continual sin(Using grace as license to LIVE IN sin)No am saying that you will sin sooner or later that's inevitable. When this happens,do not feel like a failure or be condemned but instead remember the work at the cross.Even Peter was dishonest when he acted hypocritically by withdrawing himself from the gentiles when he heard that Jews representing James were coming to meet him.Galatians 2 11...so does this mean that Peter was not a believer??Certainly not.If the greatest of saints failed AFTER receiving the Holy spirit, what makes you think we are any different??
You are still righteous even when you sin because the blood of Jesus washes away all sin. Therefore live life happy and free as you are no longer bounded to sin by the law but are now made free in Christ.2 Corinthians 5:21 For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. Its all Jesus work on the cross and not your performance.
